I am a mathematics student at the University of Arkansas.
Experience
I am able to provide tutoring for the following classes. Math - College Algebra, Trig, Finite, Survey of Calculus, Calculus 1 & 2 Chem 1 & 2 Experienced tutor up to Calc2, Chem2, and University Physics. Others - Microeconomics, reading, writing, and lower levels of math (I am will to help high school students as well) I have taken and done very well in each of these classes. I do have prior experience working as a tutor, and I'm confident that I can help you learn the material as quickly and as painlessly as possible. My rates are $20 for 1 hour and $30 for 2 hours. I consider myself an individual learner and I have developed the skills necessary to learn from higher level rigorous academic texts. I can help students learn the skills required to understand and apply concepts, and realize that having an intuitive understanding of subject material (as opposed to memorizing the steps of solving a problem) will have a profoundly positive impact on their education and the grades that they receive.
